The images used for the banners are from Wikipedia and Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia 2004
The route shields are from scanned photgraphs which were then adapted with Adobe Photoshop 6.0 to be used
on the web. With the following exceptions:
- I've never been to New Mexico, so I used Photoshop to make the New Mexico shield, and Oregon is pretty
far from Phoenix so I just flipped the California shield up-side down and colored it white ;-)
Information:
Anything that was on Stapler Highways (the old site) was just moved here. I already made all the California
and Arizona Lists as .txt files long before I started working on this site.
The information for the exits come from a collaboration of sources which include:
Mapquest, Microsoft Mappoint, Cal-Nexus (for California's proposed exit numbers), Oregon Department
of Transportation, New Mexico Department of Transportation, Nevada Department of Transportation,
Utah Department of Transportation, Arizona Department of Transportation, Google Maps, and last
but certainly not least Google Earth.
The Two most important sources were my own travels across the West over the last 10 years and
the Thomas Guides that I own for Oregon, California, and Nevada (The Arizona ones suck!)
